A unique and flattering mid length skirt made from vintage navy blue silk jacquard and featuring an adjustable thigh slip.

The Madeline Midi skirt features a flattering wrap-effect at the front, a hand-pleated ruffle that cascades from the hip over the entire length and dotted silk buttons down one side. The skirt sits at your natural waist and falls with side slits that can be adjusted through the buttons. Complete this look with the matching Gustave Roller Mini Shirt.
All of Vernisse pieces are made-to-order and each piece is available in limited quantity, depending on the fabric availability.

Water Usage: No new fabrics are produced. Upcycling of vintage fabrics allows for a highly reduced water consumption throughout the entire process. Circularity Centered: All fabrics used are upcyled fabrics. Therefore, all pieces are designed with circularity in mind by giving new life to vintage fabrics. All pieces are made-to-order, producing no waste nor deadstock. Friendly Materials: Most of the upcyled fabrics used are made from precious natural fibres, such as pure silk and wool. Some vintage fabrics may include lurex and jersey blends. When/if dye is used during the printing process on upcycled rough silk, its non-toxic. Giveback Culture: Vernisse organises capsule collections in order to raise founds for selected charities, such as for the 2020 Lebanon crisi through Bebw’shebbek NGO. Locally Crafted: Everything is proced at KM0 and Vernisse works solely in collaboration with local Italian artisans with shared values to enable the preservation of old artisanal techniques, craftsmanship and Italian cultural heritage. Packaging: items are packaged in reusable gift bags made from selected deadstock fabrics. - About the Brand

Vernisse is working without any stock and every piece is made-to-order. The delivery time may vary depending on the product. In the absence of indications expressed on shipping times, the products will be shipped within 18 working days of receipt of payment. However, remote areas may require longer delivery times. When the order is shipped, customers will receive an email specifying the tracking number and a direct link to monitor the shipment status. Additional customs duties may occur when shipping to the UK. These charges are the sole responsibility of the customer. Customers have the right to cancel the order without penalty and without stating the reasons, within 14 working days from the day of the order. The customer must notify Vernisse at info@vernisse.it within 14 days and should return the products within --- in the same condition in which he has received them and at his own expense. Return is not admitted if the products are made with your exclusive measurements (custom-made), since they can't be sold again after their return, however it is possible to send them back and ask for an adjustments. The products shall be sent to Vernisse at the following address: Vernisse Piazza Castello 4 20121, Milano Italy The customer is responsible for supplying due information to facilitate the return process. In case of withdrawal, Vernisse shall reimburse the customer all sums paid, and customers shall bear the shipping costs for the return of the products to Vernisse’s offices. The return or the exchange of the products will only be accepted if the products ordered are returned in perfect condition, not used or damaged. The consumer is liable for any diminished value of the products resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods. Therefore, if the returned products are found damaged, not complete with all parts and accessories or without the original packaging, customers shall be accountable for the decreased value of the good and be entitled to receive a refund to the residual value of the good.
