Circularity Centered: Lingerie is made from either leftover materials, that would normally end up in landfill, or upcycling.
Cruelty Free: No animal derived materials are used, and no animal testing involved in the production.
Vegan: No animal derived materials are used.
Friendly materials: Troo makes use of leftover lace from designers or from companies who no longer want the material in order to reduce waste and energy & water consumption. They are continually on the lookout for natural fibre laces and will soon launch a tencel line.
Giveback Culture: 1% of annual sales go to planting trees in South Africa. This year Troo will also be donating lingerie to Women shelters.
Locally Crafted: The Nette Rose collection is made in South Africa by a small community of local craftsmen and women in the Nette Rose studio in Cape Town. All practices are 100% fair, ethical, transparent and supervised.
Considerately Produced: All lingerie is made from offcuts of lace or upcyling. No new materials are created in the process and all pieces are limited in stock, any deadstock leftover is donated to women shelters.
Packaging: Products are packaged in compostable packaging made from Better Packaging.
