Boots are a snug fit. If you have a wider foot or are a half size we recommend going up a size. For example if you are an EU size 36.5 please go up to size 37. If you are a wide EU 36 please go up to a 37.

To reduce weave wastage, weave designs may be cut in different sections and placed at different angles when creating the product and thus weave arrangement and tassel placement may vary to image, thus no two products will ever be identical. Leather is either left over leather or a bi product of the local meat industry so may have minor scuff marks and other abrasions.

Water Usage: Traditional woven cloth which only requires minimal water. Circularity Centered: Customers are allowed to bring their shoes back to have the lining changed / repaired. Cruelty Free: Remnant leather, no animal testing. Friendly Materials: No toxic dyes. Giveback Culture: Working on a training program for At Risk Nigerian Women making them learn how to become shoemakers. Partnership with WARIF - A Nigerian non profit fighting againts the high rate of sexual assault, rape and human trafficking. Locally Crafted: 95% of materials are locally sourced and all products are 100% made by local artisans. Considerately Produced: Use of remnant leather in the production of bags and shoes as well as recycled glass in earrings. Remnant linen for dust bags and if they have leftover leather or Aso-Oke weave they turn them into gifts for customers. Packaging: Shekudo uses 100% recyclable plastic packaging for shoe protection and then place it inside a linen dust bag. They then use a locally made carton box and paper cards. Dead Stock: No dead stock as everything is sold as sample sale or discount sale at events if they don't sell online. - About the Brand

Lagos-based shoe and accessory brand, Shekudo, draws on heritage, life experiences and a wearable art aesthetic in its designs, aiming to shed light on local artisans, Nigerian craftsmanship and age-old techniques. It sources the majority of its raw materials locally, such as its shoe heels, recycled insoles, local leather, traditional Aso Oke/Akwete cloth and local cotton, plus wood, brass and silver for earrings. These charges are the sole responsibility of the customer. For returns and exchanges, customers are responsible for shipping costs and any other charges incurred by their shipping carriers.
